ADHD Therapy and Coaching

Helping you create a life that works with your ADHD, not against it

Do you feel like ADHD has taken over your life?

You struggle to keep up with day-to-day responsibilities. You spend most of your day fighting with your brain to get things done. You’re frustrated that you can’t do simple things as fast as others. You get overwhelmed and shut down when you look at your to-do list. You wonder why you’re the only one who can’t get your crap together. Others don’t get what it’s like to be in your brain. You feel dumb, lazy, and disappointed in yourself because you just can’t find a system that works for you.

  • You forget what people just said. You “forget” people exist when you’re not with them

Sometimes ADHD helps. It’s fun. Other times, it’s more like it runs and ruins things.

  • You apologize a lot for feeling like you talk too much or too fast, get lost when telling stories, or forget things you’re supposed to do

  • You procrastinate until the last minute because you can’t seem to start sooner

  • Your emotions are either on or off. When they’re on, it’s Full. Speed. Ahead.

  • People have told you you’re too much. They get mad at you more than at other people

  • You apologize All. The. Time. You’re tired of feeling like you’ve done something wrong.

It feels impossible to do things differently or feel like you’re on top of your life rather than buried underneath it.

I got you. Take a breath.

It’s about to get better.

With ADHD therapy and coaching, you can be more functional, in charge of your life, and less overwhelmed.

It may feel impossible right now. That’s fine. But that’s where I come in. ADHD coaching and therapy has helped a lot of people with ADHD like you feel empowered, live a more functional and peaceful life, and experience confidence in their relationships, communication skills, and emotions.

The best thing? You don’t have to feel defective, stupid, lazy, or crazy anymore.

You can feel functional in your daily life. You can create an environment that works with your ADHD so you can stop spending all your time fighting it. Whether you struggle in one area of life or a lot, ADHD therapy and coaching helps you learn to maximize your brain and body’s potential to create the life you want.

And I’ll help you. I’ll tailor each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach comes from my training and my own lived experience as someone with ADHD. My core strengths are compassion, being real, and hopefulness. You can see yourself as a worthy human being. You can see yourself as a person who just has a brain that’s wired in different ways from some people. And you deserve to find your own unique way of creating and living your life and getting where you’re going.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • I asked myself that a lot when I started offering it. For me, coaching is learning how to take care of the stuff on the surface. It’s the skills, the planning, the organization, the time management stuff. And that’s crucial to living a functional life as a person with ADHD. AND, it goes a lot deeper than that. Because people with ADHD don’t just struggle to be productive or listen to an alarm telling them to switch tasks. There’s usually a lot of deeper stuff that needs to be explored, understood, and healed before the skills can really set in and make a difference. And that’s the therapy side. With me, you’re not just getting someone who will throw a skills training book at you. You’re getting someone who will take the time to understand your story, the other concerns in your life that interact with your ADHD, how hard it is to face a friend or partner after you’ve “let them down” for the thousandth time, or whatever else is there. We work on healing your whole self, not just learning to “do the stuff.”

  • Everything I do is tailored to your needs and situation. I value learning what your life is like on a daily basis so I can understand what it’s like to be you. There’s no judgment in my therapy and coaching sessions, no matter how dumb or embarrassing something feels. Once we understand what your world is like and discuss why it can feel like that, I offer practical solutions to your concerns. My goal is for you to leave every session feeling like you have at least one more tool to help you until the next session.

  • Great question! This always depends on what your concerns are about, whether you have other mental health concerns in addition to ADHD (depression, anxiety, and even trauma are common ones). Some people are just looking for a few quick tools they can learn to get them on their way. Great! Other people are looking for a deeper exploration about their sense of self, how their ADHD impacts their relationships, or whether ADHD is even the best fitting diagnosis for them. This is just as valuable I meet you where you’re at, no matter where that is, and work with you at a pace that is doable yet challenging. As long as the healing and growing process takes for you, this is my promise: From the moment we meet until the day you walk out the door for the last time, I’m here with you and for you.

  • People ask me that all the time. The short answer is no. The longer answer is that the things I offer people through ADHD therapy and coaching are intended to help someone even if they’re not sure ADHD is a “real” thing for them, or they just suspect it might be a part of them.

That said, if you’re interested in getting tested, look no further! I also offer ADHD evaluations and an ADHD support group. Let’s talk more about how that could help you.

  • I wish I had a magic wand that could guarantee things would work. While I can’t promise it will work for you, many of my clients with ADHD have said how life-changing our work was for them. Many of them end up in more fulfilling and sustainable relationships, become more effective in school, engage more productively at work, and come away with a much more positive sense of themselves as someone with ADHD.

The first step is to set up a free 20-minute consultation call where I can get a better idea of your concerns, give you an idea of what it’s like to work with me, and answer any initial questions you have.
