Your Therapy Investment
It’s time to invest in yourself, your health, your healing, and your future
You are worth the investment.
Therapy is a significant investment of time, energy, and money. If you’re ready to heal and create the life you deserve, investing in therapy can change your life. It changed mine. It’s changed the lives of many people just like you who are ready to live life instead of just survive it.
My fee is $130 for a 50-minute individual therapy session. We can meet every week or every other week, depending on what your goals are and what’s brought you to therapy.
Your spot in my schedule is saved for you. I believe you are the worth the investment you’re making in therapy and I take your investment seriously. Both inside and outside sessions, I work hard to tailor our work to you, do research behind the scenes, and consult when I need another perspective.
If you ever need to reschedule your session, you need to do so at least 48 hours ahead of our session time. Otherwise, you will be charged the full session fee. If there is a truly unavoidable conflict or medical emergency, let me know, and we may be able to find a way for you to avoid the cancelation fee.
With me, you get a therapist who invests in you. I ask that you be equally invested.
Let’s get you healed so you can start really living.
I do not accept insurance.
As a psychologist, I work with you to help you heal. I work with people, not for insurance companies. I provide you the therapy you deserve and tailor it to your unique needs and circumstances. My goal is to help you achieve the healing you need without interference from rigid limitations of insurance companies.
Insurance companies decide whether your diagnosis or problems are covered by their plans. They—not you—decide how many sessions you can attend and how long those sessions are. They may not cover teletherapy. I commit to offer you the best therapy experience possible. Doing so with me means we won’t be worried about whether an insurance company will interfere in the process.
Some clients seek reimbursement from their insurance company for a portion of the therapy fee. If you’d like to do this, I can provide proof of service (Superbill) that you submit directly to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Doing this doesn’t guarantee your insurance will reimburse for sessions you pay for. You should check with your insurance to see if this is something they offer. Because reimbursement isn’t guaranteed, it shouldn’t be a financial necessity for us to work together. It can be considered a bonus.
Good Faith Estimate Information:
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, I am required to inform individuals who are uninsured or not seeking to file a claim with their insurance company (self-pay individuals) of their right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges, upon request or at the time of scheduling psychological services.
This “Good Faith Estimate” helps you estimate the expected charges you may be billed for receiving psychological services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
